Cindy was born in Wisconsin and grew up in California. An accomplished photojournalist, she began her career as a photographer for TIME Magazine, covering war and politics in Latin America and the Caribbean. Later, based in Miami, she photographed news, portraits, features stories, travel and culture for diverse media such as the New York Times, People, Life, Rolling Stone, the Discovery Channel and dozens of other U.S. and international publications.

She was introduced to the world of wedding photography when assigned to cover weddings for the Vows section of the New York Times. Following her heart, Cindy found weddings a balance to the photography of documenting the harsher realities of the world. Her photographic storytelling talent makes her wedding coverage unique. Her ability to document events, small or large, has made her one of South Florida’s busiest wedding photographers.

Cindy teaches Fine Art film photography at a South Florida college and digital photography workshops.  She has photographed various books for children. She speaks English and Spanish.
